Who Likes Money?:The Awesome Five Dollar Bill

Hey guys!! Today I am researching the five dollar bill! I picked this currency because I really have a thing for five dollar bills. Anyway... I am going to tell you about it. The first thing you need to know is the day it was issued. The day it was issued was March 13, 2008. Yep that's right, just a while ago they "re-made" it meaning they added some touches and removed some too. The person on the front right now is Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln has not always been on the bill though, he only came onto the bill in 1928 and before him a lot of other people were on it. Abraham Lincoln was chosen to be on the five dollar bill because he did many great things to this country and the people in it. Also he was chosen because obviously he was the 16th president. I must be boring you so lets go onto some interesting facts about it! One fact about the five dollar bill is that a nickname for it is "fin". "Fin" has roots in the German and Yiddish languages and means "five" in English. Isn't that cool? Another fact about the five dollar bill is, you know that big purple five on the back?
